DECLARATION OF THE MANAGEMENT OF ELIA PLC ON THE QUALITY POLICY, HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORK
As ELIA Plc management we recognize that our development and prosperity depend
on the actual results in the performance of the expectations of our clients, partners, employees and other stakeholders regarding the quality of our products, safety and health at work and environmental protection.
Based on conscious responsibilities, the management of ELIA Plc declares that:
- The high quality of our products, including their full compliance with the essential requirements for them, health and safety at work and environmental protection, are personal commitment of each member of the company’s management.
- Guarantees the quality of production and strict compliance with the legal requirements in terms of production control, health and safety at work and environmental protection by introducing of Integrated Management System (IMS) based on international quality standards (BDS EN ISO 9001:2008), health and safety at work (BS OHSAS 18001:2007) and environmental protection (BDS EN ISO 14001:2005), which develops and improves continuously.
- Provides the necessary resources for implementation of the quality policy, health and safety at work and environmental protection at all levels in the company.
- Provides priority of goals and objectives for improving the quality, health and safety at work and environmental protection.
- By effectively functioning Integrated Management System offers a framework for setting and reviewing the quality objectives, safety and health at work and environmental protection.
- Organizes and conducts annual reviews of the system and conducts actions for continuous improvement of the activities.
- Provides access and promotes its policy among stakeholders.
The policy of ELIA Plc in the area of the quality, health and safety at work and environmental protection is publicly announced and explained to all staff of the company and in ELIA Plc website at www.eliaplc.com.
The principles and rules established with the documents of the Integrated Management System are required to implement and are respected by all who work in the company.

PRIVACY POLICY OF THE SENIOR MANAGEMENT OF ELIA PLC
The Privacy Policy describes the commitments and the responsibility of the Senior Management of ELIA Plc. in acquisition and management of confidential information from company clients.
Confidential information is this commercial, technical or financial information that we receive from our client and other related organizations in connection with an assigned activity or service that can not be and is not disclosed in the public domain and/or which the clients are expressly designated as confidential. We consider as confidential also the information which became aware during the performance or as a result of our activity.
ELIA Plc. is very attentive to guarantee the security of the information provided by the clients. We are committed to take all necessary measures to ensure that all information provided to us is processed fairly and lawfully. All of our employees are obliged to respect the confidentiality of the available information.
Submitted by the client data or information are used only for the purposes of the activity performed by us – response to client inquery, providing of an offer, preparation and negotiation, execution of a contract or order processing.
Storage and processing of the data are permitted to maintain relationships with our clients, to achieve a better understanding of business interests and their needs, or to contact them in relation to our particular proposal.
We may use the provided information to conduct a survey or study aimed at improving our joint work and finding ways in which we can evaluate and improve their products and services.
Exposing limited information for our clients – the name of the company, implemented project and period of execution – is possible in the preparation of reference lists for participating in tenders or inclusion in company and information publications for advertising purpose.
ELIA Plc. shall use or disclose the information provided by partners except for the declared above and in cases where it is required by law or the competent governmental or judicial authorities, necessary for the establishment or maintenance of the right of action or remedy, and to prevent fraud or other illegal activities.
We will not disclose information about our clients to any unauthorized or unscrupulous persons to be used and distributed illegally, maliciously and in violation of our clients corporate interests.
To protect the information provided by our clients against accidental or unauthorized disclosure, access, destruction or alteration, ELIA Plc. uses technical and organizational security measures.
The Privacy Policy may be updated and changed in the future where we will publish the revised Privacy Policy on our website www.eliaplc.com.

HEALTH AND SAFETY OBJECTIVES
In connection with the commitments expressed in the Declaration of the management of ELIA Plc on the quality policy, health and safety at work, Senior Management of ELIA Plc. sets health and safety objectives for the period 1 January 2017 – 31 December 2017.
Scope. The objectives are intended to ensure the realization of events for improving the management and the compliance with legal requirements in terms of production control, health and safety at work and environmental protection through effectively functioning Integrated Management System (IMS) based on international quality standards (BDS EN ISO 9001:2008), health and safety at work (BS OHSAS 18001:2007) and implementation of BDS EN ISO 14001:2005 for environmental protection.
NATURE AND CONTENT
1. Implementation of statutory requirements of health and safety at work
- Revision of the Integrated Management System (IMS) of ELIA Plc. to bring it in line with effective new regulations and standards and removal of shortcomings.
- Draw periodically together with Occupational Health Services (OHS) Trudova Meditsina OOD maps for risk assessment of staff working on external sites.
- Preparation of new maps of risk for ELIA staff of Occupational Health Services (OHS) Trudova Meditsina OOD

2. Monitoring the health status of the staff and the working conditions
- Ensuring optimal package of health services for additional health assurance for workers in ELIA Plc. by signing a new contract with licensed health assurance fund.
- Organizing and execution together with Occupational Health Services (OHS) Trudova Meditsina OOD and ELIA Control Body of the necessary tests of the factors of the work conditions in the ELIA departments.

3. Increasing the competence of the staff on health and safety at work:
- Further training of electrical personnel in the Rules for Health and Safety at Work in electrical installations.
- Further training of the managers of Integrated Management System (IMS), Safety and Health at Work Officers and the technical staff to work with high-risk means by arranging and conducting external courses relating to the provision of health and safety at work in ELIA Electrical Equipment Plant.
- Further training of the Health and Safety at Work Managers in new and changed laws and regulations applicable to the activities of ELIA Plc.
- Training of the representatives in the Committee on working condition/Group on working conditions.
- Training of officials conducting instructions.
- Training of officials who manage labor processes.
- Public announcement and explanation of the Declaration of the management on quality policy, health and safety at work and health and safety objectives of ELIA Plc in the offices and on the website of ELIA Plc www.eliaplc.com.

OBJECTIVES ON ENVIRONMENT
- Continuous monitoring and control of environmental aspects in order to improve the environmental protection through the effective and efficient management of pollutants generated from operations.
Responsible: Management Representative for Integrated Management System (IMS) - Maintaining compliance as a minimum with the requirements of regulations in terms of environmental protection on the activities, processes, technology, end product and associated services and related with them identified aspects.
Responsible: Managers of Integrated Management System - Optimisation of the consumption of used materials and energy resources and stimulating the search for resources and methods reducing the consumption and the expenses for materials and resources.
Responsible: Chief Engineer of ELIA Electrical Equipment Plant
Managers of Integrated Management System - Systematic striving for main goal of zero harmful emissions in the environment through the acceptance and implementation of specific objectives and programs to prevent pollution of the environment.
Responsible: Management Representative for Integrated Management System - Creating the conditions for reuse and/or recycling of the waste generated.
Responsible: Managers of Integrated Management System - Monitoring and measurement of key features of special processes, facilities and activities that have a significant impact on the environment.
- Providing the necessary resources for training and strengthening the motivation and the personal responsibility of each of our employees to protect the environment.

QUALITY OBJECTIVES
In connection with the commitments expressed in the Declaration of the management of ELIA Plc. on the quality policy, health and safety at work andenvironmental protection, Senior Management of ELIA Plc. sets quality objectives for the period 1 January 2016 – 31 December 2016 in the offices of the company in Sofia and Varna.
Scope. Quality objectives are designed to ensure the realization of events to improve the quality of management of the overall engineering process of ELIA Plc. and to improve competitiveness and motivation of its staff.
NATURE AND CONTENT
1. Improving the management of the company towards identifying and developing
of profitable for the company processes in times of economic crisis
- Establishment and development of direct contacts with manufacturers of electrical apparatus and legalization by ELIA in commercial representations.
- Researching of electrical and technological problems of potential clients from industry connected with the activity of ELIA Plc. in order to solve them on site,conducting of intensive promotional and presentation activities on site, as well as ensuring new clients for the company.
- Expanding opportunities for common activities with Russian partners.

2. Increasing the competence and efficiency of the staff
- Training for all managers, auditors and officers of Integrated Management System in new versions of ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001.
